I came into design from commercial print, where I saw the files that didn't work: bleed missing, colour set for a screen instead of a press, cutter lines in the wrong place. Jobs sent back, deadlines lost.

So I do both halves. The design has to look right, and it has to be built correctly for the thing it's going to become — a label that fits the bottle, a menu that holds up on the table, a logo that works on a shopfront and a phone screen.

Most small businesses don't want a discovery phase and a strategy deck. They want the menu done, the label right and the price clear. That's what Barebones is for.
